I paint to give form to feelings

Born and raised in Romania, Alexandra Radu is a visual artist whose work explores the emotional undercurrents of everyday life. She began painting as a child and sold her first artwork in 2014 at a local auction organized by the Rotaract club. Her intuitive approach to color, texture, and composition allows her to create paintings that feel quiet, personal, and emotionally charged.

Working primarily in oil and mixed media, she paints to give form to feelings -  often translating fleeting moods, memories, or internal landscapes into soft, atmospheric pieces. Her work invites the viewer into a subtle space between clarity and ambiguity, where emotion leads the way.

She currently lives and works in Cluj-Napoca, sharing her process through studio practice, open studios, and exhibitions.
